History of Artefact Compiled and edited by K Keary, London Frederick Warne and Co, Bedford Street, Strand.

Historian - 'They were handed to children. Made possible by developments in colour printing that made them relatively cheap to make. Made a lovely keepsake for somebody. Reflects that the population were becoming much more literate. The book contains spiritual thoughts for each day and colour illustrations for each one.'
Historian John Stedman / Rosalinda Hardiman
Previous Owners H Clark, Ruth's husband's grandfather / or great grandfather on his fourteenth birthday in 1892.
Special Memories 'It reminds me of my mother-in-law and her parents and her grand-parents. It takes me back in history. '
