| History of Artefact |
It was a commissioned piece. The piece incorporates personal fragments of textiles from around our home; mainly from Celia Clark’s personal dress-making items. Included in the collection of fabrics chosen are pieces taken from Deane’s orange dressing gown made by his mother (approximately 40 years old), Irish tweed from a jacket Celia Clark made, a selection of dresses and braided dressing gown cord. |
