Artefact Description	Good condition. Floral design. The background is made from Cloth of Gold Silk (real gold) probably French and is embroidered with various shades of silk thread (gold, turquoise, blue, pink and red). It has been relined with pink taffeta. There is some wear to the shoulder area of the chasuble with both the Stole and Veil in good condition.

History of Artefact	This is the garment the Priest wears for Holy Communion on feast days. There is little known of the chasuble's origin. Mrs Elvin and Dr Lynn Hulse from the Royal School of Needlework identified it as being an embroidery from 1820. It is also thought to be a copy of a medieval design.
