Arts Council England & SEEDA Public Art Arts + Final Award for Innovation

A unique and Ambitious Public Art Project - running 2007-2010 Partners 2007-8 Portsmouth City Council Patronage David Pointer 2006-1010

160 Artworks created through the use of traditional fine art approaches with new technologies, one of the largest innovative archives in the U.K.

204 Artefacts have been investigated, catalogued and fragment collected. The fragment touched by generations past is scientifically analysed for fluorescence and its physical worn influences, allowing resonances of the past to seep into the analysis and creative process.

2011 Recall film projections to tour to other venues: to be announced

Recall Film Architectural Projections

Recall film invokes, memories stored in fragments of aged objects collected and investigated by the artist. Kubisa uses a high-tech scientific process to extract the artwork which then becomes an intrinsic part of the film reel and the trigger to the memory being re-leased through stills, film scenes, film archives and sound. Archives of objects used are featured on this website.

'Recall' film projection onto the interior fabric of the Cathedral took place over 2 evenings and was a great success. Contemporary sound and music scores by composers Robert Fage & Stephen Tait.

Funded by Arts Council England through the National Lottery and Patron David Pointer

*Coutts Bank The Strand London Projections*

Large scale projections took place at Coutts & Co Bank London, in attendance with Princess Royal. A commission was completed for artworks created from investigations of their artefacts. The artworks were placed in their offices.

*Romsey Abbey Projections Trial 2010*

A successful trial of large Scale projections of artworks with film and sound elements.
