History of Artefact ‘It came from Hong Kong. It was my Great Aunt’s, Morrie Roach. She was in the army and she collected these cards. I have 23 of the set. I think she was a nurse.’

Previous Owners Morrie Roach (Great Aunt). Passed to Kevin Roach in 1962 (son in law of Brian).
Special Memories ‘I found it when my dad died. We’ve talked about the time it came from. It’s part of the family I didn’t know a great deal about.’
‘It is a good thing to talk about. The story behind it reminds me of my own service in the Royal Marines, I served in Singapore and Malaysia.’
