Artefact Description Plastic box containing chocolate, matches, needle and thread, chewing gum, sweets and other things that would have been needed in an emergency. Dimensions 15cm width x 11cm depth x 2cm height.
Fair condition. Wrappers are stuck to the food.

History of Artefact These would have been carried by RAF personnel on a mission in case their aircraft got shot down or crashed in enemy territory. It contains basic food rations to keep them alive and matches to light a fire to keep warm.
